Investment Consulting

If you are new to Krilogy-The Sher Group, we only move on to our Investment Consulting process after our initial Advanced Planning overview is completed to our mutual satisfaction. For our tenured clients we re-discover and deliver Comprehensive Wealth Management in its entirety on a continuing basis.

Asset allocation is the most important decision we will make together as it explains the risk and return in your portfolio1. Research has shown that asset allocation explains 90% of return on investments2. A 1991 study by Ibbotson and Kaplan3 confirmed that it is not the selection of individual stocks or bonds, nor timing the market driving performance but the allocation of assets that makes a difference in the long-term.

There are four steps to our Investment Consulting process:

Step 1  Developing your Investment Policy and Asset Allocation based on time horizons, risk tolerance and loss aversion; the most effective antidote for panic.

Step 2  Analyzing your current investments; recommending and implementing a well-diversified and properly-weighted portfolio.

Step 3  Routinely monitoring and managing our selections and strategies.

Step 4  Staying on track with the Investment Policy based on your unique and evolving objectives  and the need for new investments and rebalancing in the overall portfolio.
